| 内容記述 | With the increase of international students in the Japanese universities, Japanese universities and its staffs are more or less confronted with the task to build up a network and system for those studying and living in Japan. With regard to mental health of the international students, it is essential to establish cooperative relationship between Japanese medical institutions and universities. Given the linguistic environment in Japan, where the dominant language is Japanese, it could be difficult for international student who need to visit a psychiatrist or mental hospital in Japan. This paper discusses the difficulties that international students may face when they visit psychiatric hospitals in Japan. It also discusses what kind of relatedness is needed between the universities and medical institutions to realize an effective and flexible environment for international students. |
