| 内容記述 | 本論文は国宝源氏物語絵巻「柏木(二)」の制作当時から現在に至る約900年の間に変化したと思われる絵画の魅力について、現代人の感性(年齢は20代に限定)を使い、自然科学的に追求することを目的とし、SD(Semantic Differential)法による感性的な分析と色彩の観点からの考察を行ったものである。SD法の実験ではAdobe Systems社のPhotoshop7.0.1による画像編集を行い、9枚の実験絵面を用意し、モニターを使い印象評価を行った。用意した実験絵画は原本1枚・修復絵画1枚・復元絵画1枚・モーフイングによる合成絵画6枚である。また、日本人の心の中にある美についての評価軸を決定するために、源氏物語絵巻以外の国宝絵画20枚によるSD法実験を行った。さらに、和紙やろうそくの効果について調べるため、原本・修復絵画・復元絵画を和紙に印刷しSD法実験を行った。次に、色彩の観点からの考察では国宝源氏物語絵巻「柏木(二)」が約900年の間にどのように変化したかを調べるため、復元絵画と原本について色差・配色・CMYKの分析と考察を行った。SD法の分析を行った結果、「柏木(二)」の復元絵画では極彩色で雅やかな美を、原本ではわび・さび・幽玄のある美を被験者が感じていることがわかった。さらに、この絵画についている傷・ムラのある変色・絵具の剥落がこの絵画を見る者の想像力をかきたて、わび・さび・幽玄の印象をさらに出していることを定量的に分析した。また、色彩分析の結果から、「柏木(二)」は時が経つごとに、絵の具が色あせることなく、より明度の低い暗い色に変わり、そして幽かに残る制作当時に近い色と変色が進んだ色が混在することにより、元の極彩色で雅やかだった状態や時の流れを想像させるのではないかと考えられる。つまり、時の経過とともに失われていく極彩色で雅やかだった印象やその歴史を想像させる傷、ムラのある変色・絵具の剥落の効果プラス、絵の具が色あせることなく、より明度の低い暗い色で青の無いまとまった配色になるという色彩の変化により、この絵画を見るものを静かに引き込んでいくようなわび・さび・幽玄のある美へと「柏木(二)」が変化したことを定量的に分析することができた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper is a study of sensitiveness in "KASHIWAGI II" Picture Scroll of Tale of Genji, to mathematically search after the changing colors and beauty. First, I experiment with three types of SD method. In the first experiment, subjects in their twenties look at nine pictures that I prepare, presented on a monitor, and answer questions. These pictures consist of an original, a restoration of the picture's state, a restoration of the color, and six composite pictures. In the second experiment, subjects look via a monitor at 20 national treasure pictures which do not include Picture Scroll of Tale of Genji and answer questions, to determine an axis of evaluation of a Japanese sense of beauty. In the third experiment, subjects look at the original, the restoration of the picture's state, and the restoration of the color that are printed on Japanese paper and answer questions to research the effect of Japanese paper and candle. Next, I analyze the original and a restoration of the color, to clarify the difference of the color, the coloration, and the rate of CMYK between them. Results of the SD experiments show that the subjects feel the restoration of the color to be colorful and Miyabi, and they feel the original to be Wabi, Sabe, and Yugen, which are characteristic of Japanese beauty. In addition, I make clear that an irregular discoloration, the loss of color and the wound on the original make them feel more Wabi, Sabi, and Yugen. A result of the color analysis shows that the color of the original has not faded but has become dingy, and the irregular discoloration makes subjects feel the history. In conclusion, this paper shows that the irregular discoloration, the loss of color and the wound on the original that make subjects feel the history, plus the changing of the color have brought "KASHIWAGI" Wabi, Sabi, and Yugen. | |||||
