| 内容記述 | 学習者の前に立って授業を行う教師は、校種や教科に関わらずパブリック・スピーカーといえる。英語科の授業では、教師によるオープニングトーク、クラスルームイングリッシュ、教科書の音読などの言語活動が考えられる。これらはスピーチのスタイルの観点から、impromptu、manuscript、memorized、extemporaneousの4つのスタイルに当てはめることができる。それぞれのスタイルの長所と短所を十分に理解し、意識することで授業はより密度の濃いものとなる。筆者は教職課程で教員をめざす学生の指導を行っており、学生は模擬授業を実践する。時間をかけて指導案や教材を準備し模擬授業に臨むが、実際に他の学生の前に立って授業を行うことは簡単なことではない。模擬授業に対する複数のふり返りの中で自分の授業の動画映像をじっくりと観察することは、客観的な第三者的視点を通してReflective Selfを確立していくための重要なステップとなる。本稿では学生がこうした学びのプロセスの意味を理解し、どのような気づきをしているかを論じる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | A teacher who stands in front of students and conducts lessons can be considered a public speaker, regardless of school type or subject. In an English class, language activities may include the teacher’s opening talk, classroom English, and reading aloud from a textbook. In terms of styles of speech, these can be categorized into four styles: impromptu, manuscript, memorized, and extemporaneous. By fully understanding and being aware of the advantages and disadvantages of each style, teachers can make their teaching more meaningful. The author teaches students who try to become English teachers, and the students practice micro teaching. Although they spend a lot of time preparing teaching plans and materials for the class, it is not easy to actually stand in front of other students and conduct the lesson effectively with confidence. Watching a video of their own teaching and reflecting on it is an important step in establishing a reflective self through an objective, third-party perspective. In this paper, how students understand the meaning of such learning process will be discussed. | |||||
