| 内容記述 | Clinical interviews are crucial part of psychotherapy. Doi (1977) indicates that if the therapist listens to the narratives of the client and discovers points that are “difficult to understand” (wakaranai), he/she should appreciate it and think carefully about the client’s condition and his/her backgrounds. This awareness of the therapist could create a potential space for the client which leads to a deeper understanding of his/her condition, state of mind and the hidden context which he/she might not be aware of. In this paper, concepts and verbs such as German verb “erleben”, English verb “experience” and Japanese verb “shiru”(knowing) were examined. It has been proved that these verbs are useful conceptions that facilitate the mutual communication with the clients who have difficulties in verbalizing their emotions and thoughts. |
