内容記述 | A group-work tea ceremony has been held for students in the student counseling room of Konan University once a year since 2000. Immediately after the ceremony, students are asked to write down their impressions from the tea ceremony they have experienced. The purpose of this study is to sort out the information given in their descriptions and report the results. Furthermore, from the results I would like to try to find the psycho-therapeutic meaning of the tea ceremony. Most of participants experienced feelings different from everyday life. In additions, their senses were stimulated various images came into their minds. For example, some participants felt a bond with other people, and others felt・that they were at one with nature or themselves. These student's experiences show us that the tea ceremony is able to connect people to other people and things through the images that it stimulates in people's mind. In fact simply sitting during the tea ceremony, without actually doing anything else, can stimulate images and experiences. It can therefore be said that the tea ceremony has the same meaning in terms of psychotherapy as the sand-play technique or other such methods. |
