| 内容記述 | This is a study on the dreams related to Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. A questionnaire was done in June 1996, by mail, to 202 survivors who had lived in the Higashinada Ward, Nada Ward, and Ashiya City. As a result, more than 701'of the subjects had at least one related dream, and the content of their dreams changed with time. Just after the earthquake they had many repetitive nightmares with fearful, frightened body-feelings and terrible flashback images. After few months or more, they tended to have dreams of the dead people. Some began to participate in the process of mourning work, others seemed to re-experience the death of themselves simbolically. Although the frequency of having dreams decreaced gradually, more than 201'of the subjects still have related dreams at the time of the questionnaire. Compared with student-subjects, older people had much serious mental-health problems and it is considered that they recoverd from the damage more slowly. |
