| 内容記述 | In Japanese culture.one must consider "ma" in any interpersonal relationship, whether consciously or not consciously. Many people who have psychological problems about relationship with other people and are suffering from intense shyness/shame claim that they don't have good "ma" in the presense of others. "Ma" in Japanese culture has various aspects and is difficult to define as a clear-cut concept. In this pape, "ma" is studied from following three points of view: 1) aestetic viewpoint, 2) psychopathological viewpoint, 3) cultural consideration; l) As an aesthetic concept, "ma" is a very important perceptive manner in some Japanese traditional art performance, such as "Noh-performance”, 2) From the psychopathological point of view. “ma” can be understood as cognitive/emotional state in the interpersonal rerationahips, which can cause emotional tention and shyness/shame feeling in the presense of other people; 3) As a cultual problem, "ma" -conciousneness is closely connected with specific uniformity of Japanese group, which causes difficulty in establishing individuality |
