While the increase of the student who “can’t leave his/her nest” has been pointed out in the field of student counseling after around 2000, the same phenomenon was regarded as the problem of the job-hopping part-time worker and the young unemployed person in the society, and various national policies were being carried out through 2000 ’s. Then our society came to request higher education to bring various “new ability” up for a student as carrier education. Consequently, to respond the request from the economic world, higher education has been driven into a bottleneck because of pursuing the American model. It is likely to be that there is a big shift from modern society to post-modern society in a background, and we have the contradiction on our educational philosophy which must be fundamentally changed. When we support students to leave their nest, we have to see not only the individual student, but also the relation between individuals and social situation or systems.
