Therefore, more and more Japanese such as students, academics and university officials with little international experience have come into contact with students with different cultural backgrounds.  The previous studies indicate the importance of psycho-education on mental health and cultural adaptation to the international students, however there are not many studies that focus on the psycho-education to the Japanese. In this paper, the psycho-education to the Japanese host families that promotes comprehension about the mental health of international students and different culture were discussed.
