Sadakane (2016) examined two case studies and indicated that the seven-minute interview was effective for educational counseling. The remaining issue was to examine the possible efficacy of the interview for the majority of teachers. Therefore, a questionnaire was administered at Ａ high school in the Chugoku region, which inquired about first-meeting interviews using the seven-minute method. Based on the results, the effectiveness of the seven-minute interview as an educational counseling method is discussed.\n　It was indicated that the seven-minute interviews were effective as an educational counseling method because the efficiency of interviews　improved, and the burden of interviews decreased.
