| 内容記述 | This study presents findings from a nationwide survey conducted in FY2021 as part of a scientific research project on the learning environment and motivation of French language learners and their instructors. The author, as a co-searcher, analyzed questionnaire responses to examine students’ preferred class formats, motivational differences across formats, and the impact of class content and size on learner engagement. The results indicate that while a significant roportion of students favor face-to-face instruction, resistance to online learning is diminishing. Furthermore, although online learners generally exhibit lower motivation compared to their face-to-face counterparts, motivation levels can approach parity depending on the quality of class content and the scale of the class. | |||||
